The Queens University of Belfast (QUB) Seidokan Club was founded in 1993 and has established itself as one of the most successful and progressive university clubs in Ireland and the United Kingdom. We are a multi-style Club and train in traditional Japanese and Okinawan martial arts and 'progressive' self defence systems.

  • lets you meet new people and offers an active social life
  • embraces all aspects of Martial Arts, from traditional methods of training, including Kata and Kihon to the increasingly demanding arena of modern competition
  • is open to all enthusiasts, regardless of age, gender or experience, with an open door policy to people from other martial arts backgrounds
  • offers regular training weekends and coaching seminars where members are encouraged to work hard and play hard
  • Organises regular ‘socials’ where the club gets together for an evenings entertainment
  • regularly hosts seminars with Internationally recognised Masters
